What Customers Say About Mass Effect Original Game Soundtrack:

The music playing in the background at C-Sec was absolutely perfect. This is an incredible soundtrack that for me is half of the Mass Effect experience. There was so much variety in the music. I love the game, and the music sets the mood perfectly. I'll never forget when I first played Mass Effect running around the Citadel. I liked the subtle background music and the more intense tracks. This Soundtrack is awesome.

I love the first track on this cd and listen to it often. The rest of the cues are also great listens, adding up to a cool soundtrack. I'm tired, so this review is a bit vague, but if you liked the game (I loved it), then you'll like this soundtrack.

A lot of the tracks in the game are not heard here and some of them have the wrong title or weren't even used in the actual game. I loved this game; it was truly epic. From what I had read in an Article the music was inspired by Dune and BladeRrunner. Example, Ilos is not the Ilos Battle tune it's actually the tune used in the derelict ships throughout the game. If you remember back in the day when the OST of Blade Runner was released, more than half the music from the movie was missing and some of the tunes on the OST weren't even in the movie. I suppose the ones who put this album together really took that to heart because they did the exact same thing here. The catchy tune from the battle on Therum will not be found on here as well. =( At least they included M4 Part II.

The music is great. It sort of combines Blade Runner with Dune as well as some other 'weird and strange' kind of music. It's like listening to some kind of dance music that's not dance music.

Looking at each track I really enjoy them.but as a whole they just dont fit together. I really loved this game and I honestly love the music from it. I cant just sit down and listen to the disc start to finish. My problem with this disc is that the music does not flow at all. You're presented with a long list of music cuts that just seem to come out of nowhere. I find myself dropping tracks into a collection of other things. My whole issue with the disc is how it's put together, not what it contains.
